Attached to the upper scabbard ring is a RARE, original metal/cardboard Ernst Pack quality control/issue tag. The circular tag features a red paper/cardboard, center inscribed with white block letters, "ORIGINAL PACK BLANKE WAFFEN SOLINGEN" surrounding a facsimile of Siegfried wielding hammer logo on the obverse, and a gold washed, metal reverse with the impressed inscription, "D.R.P." in the center. The metal tag retains virtually 100% of the factory finish and is attached to the scabbard by a red, twisted cord showing only minor age with no fraying.
